Husky Park offers husky adventures in Santa Claus Village all year long! In winter, you can feel the thrill on a husky sled ride through snowy forests. In summer, you get to know our furry friends, and learn about their lives, care, and personalities.
Book your visit right here on our website, or if you’re already in Rovaniemi, you can get tickets right at the door (while availability lasts) No need to book in advance just to stop by and say hi to the huskies!
From 2026, our emissions are offset through
verified forest restoration in Finland.
From 2026 onwards, we’re taking concrete steps to ensure our operations are climate-neutral. As part of our commitment to reducing emissions, we’re partnering with Carboreal to support the restoration of a new, biodiverse forest in Finland. This project will sequester hundreds of tonnes of CO₂, permanently removing carbon from the atmosphere, supporting local ecosystems, and contributing to long-term climate resilience.
We believe in meaningful, science-based climate action. By investing in natural carbon removal through afforestation, we’re going beyond short-term offsets and supporting a solution that lasts for decades. This initiative is part of our broader sustainability strategy, aligned with EU climate goals and ESG principles.

Frequently asked questions
Can I join husky ride when there is no snow?
Sure! We do offer rides with our summer carriage during summer and autumn, when the temperature is low enough.
Do we need to make a reservation?
It’s not required to book ahead as tickets can also be purchased upon arrival at Husky Park from our ticket sales. We sell tickets on a first-come, first-served basis starting from our opening hours in the morning. Arriving early gives you the best chance to secure tickets.
For groups of more than 10 people, we recommend making a reservation in advance.
When is the snowy and snow-free season?
Our activities are divided into two seasons: the snowy season runs from 1.12 to 30.4, and the snow-free season from 1.6 to 30.11. Since the exact arrival of snow cannot be predicted, in some years we may switch to sleds earlier than 1.12 if conditions allow. We always move to sleds as soon as there is enough snow to do so safely. The activities are still organized according to the current program.
When are husky rides available?
We offer husky rides from autumn until the end of winter. During autumn, when the temperature is below +15 °C we offer short husky rides with our summer carriage. In November/December whenever we have enough snow, we start offering the husky rides with sleds instead.
Cancellation terms and refunds?
If you need to cancel your reservation time, please let us know latest 48 hours before your reservation time. This way we are able to give your booked timing for another guest and we will be able to proceed with any possible refunds. Please note, that we don’t give any refunds for cancellations that arrive less than 48 hours before the reservation time.
