Our Story
Every morning, we open the doors to the most accessible husky experience in Finland, right in Santa Claus Village, Rovaniemi. Our family-owned company has operated here for several decades.
We take this magical location seriously, and upholding the magic of Christmas is part of our core promise: We’re open every day, and we always have something to offer. We ensure this, by keeping about half of our availability open for walk-in customers even during the busiest part of the year! It’s important to us, that no matter who steps in the park, regardless of age, experience, or athleticism, our activities are just as suitable for them as anyone else.
Husky Park is home to over 130 purebred Siberian Huskies, and that of course means that we’re not only open during Christmas. Our large, dedicated team is here to take care of the huskies every single day of the year, and apart from May, we have activities for visitors as well, every day!
In the winter, you can immerse yourself in the traditional atmosphere of Lapland’s most iconic season. Embark on sled rides through the pristine forests and bogs, meet our furry friends in the Husky Meet & Greet area, and learn about huskies and mushing culture with your full day visitation ticket (offered with any activity). If you get hungry, our restaurant offers a range of salty and sweet treats. On your way out, visit our shop to pick up a souvenir to remember your visit by.
The rest of the year, we focus on direct education and entertainment for the whole family, with Guided Tours, and Husky Meet & Greets starting multiple times a day, Husky Hiking, and even rides on our wheeled carriage as soon as the temperature allows!

The Team
Making sure our 130+ huskies, and tens of thousands of visitors are happy all year round, wouldn’t be possible without our dedicated crew of regulars – the people we’ve built this place around. And every winter, we bring on a whole new wave of seasonal staff to help us through the busiest, most magical months of the year. Some are returnees, but often they’re new people, trained up fresh to true professionals each season, and without them we simply couldn’t do what we do.
We believe a rested, appreciated team is what makes the difference, for the huskies, our guests, and for each other. So it is a core value for us to ensure every worker feels like a part of the team, and likes working at Husky Park. Because good energy starts with taking care of the people (and dogs) who make it all happen. 🐺☀️
