Snowshoeing has helped humans move from A to B for thousands of years. It enables humans to get to places one otherwise couldn’t reach in winter. It’s a perfect getaway from everyday life and an experience which you’ll remember your whole lifetime!

Imagine a wintery forest scenery, where snow has taken over the vegetation, and trees sparkle from the frost. Can you recognize the animals by the footprints on the untouched snow? By snowshoes you get to have a breath of fresh air without disturbing wildlife. Take a seat by the open fire and have a mug of warm berry juice while enjoying some campfire treats. On the way your outdoor guide will share some of their knowledge of the surrounding nature with you and explain the basics of how to survive in such difficult conditions.

Program duration: 2,5 hours

What is included: Thermal clothing (overalls, winter boots, gloves, hat, and wool socks), guidance in English/Finnish, snowshoes, snacks

Available: Tuesday + Friday at 9:00 (1.12. – 31.3., depending on the snow situation)

Price: 108€ / adult and 74€ / child (4 to 12 years)

Transfer: 50€ / reservation

Duration including transfers: 3,5 hours

Minimum participant number 2 people, maximum 8. Please be ready about 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time, thank you!

Pick-up points: Husky Park + Glass Resort at around 8:30, Hostel Café Koti at around 8:40

Meeting point: Hotel Metsähirvas at 9:00

Cancellation policy

• We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
