In prehistoric Finland, fishing was the main livelihood. Now you can experience how good of a fisherperson you are!

The activity starts with heading to the frozen river in a sled, pulled by the guide’s snowmobile and then drilling a hole in the ice. While waiting for the fish to bite you will hear how the locals live here and what fishing really means for Finnish people. You will also learn about Ahti, the god or possessor of water in Finnish folklore and ancient religion. While warming up by an open fire, you get to enjoy hot juice and treats!

Activity duration: 2,5 hours 

What is included: Thermal clothing (overalls, winter boots, gloves, hat, and wool socks), guidance in English/Finnish, físhing equipment, snacks

Available: Monday + Thursday at 9:00 (1.12. – 31.3., depending on the ice situation)

Price: 108€ / adult and 74€ / child (4 to 12 years).

Transfer: 50€ / reservation.

  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
