Husky Park in Snow-Covered Santa Claus Village

Sled team in the open with clear skies and snowy sites heading to the forest.

Your Arctic adventure starts here.

A lot of people come to Rovaniemi for Christmas (understandably), but the Finnish winter only begins to come alive in December, and gets even better as the new year progresses.
Winter transforms Santa Claus Village into a true Arctic fairytale, and Husky Park sits right next to it. This family-owned destination brings together over 130 purebred Siberian Huskies and a snow-sparkling Arctic backdrop that feels straight out of a storybook. Perfect for winter travelers, dog lovers, and families alike!

A Snowy Setting Made for Huskies

Snow isn’t just scenery here, it’s essential. The winter season brings Husky Park to life as the dogs thrive in crisp temperatures and snowy trails. Surrounded by white forests and frosted paths, visitors experience Lapland the way it was meant to be seen: quiet, pure, and powered by huskies. ❄️

Meet & Greet the Fur-riends

Not just for thrill seekers, Husky Park also offers meet-and-greet sessions where visitors can interact, pet, and learn about the lives of the huskies. These friendly dogs love attention and are eager to share their playful personalities with guests of all ages.

Husky Rides in the Arctic wilderness

For adventurers of all ages, we have professional guide driven Husky Rides of 3 distances to choose from. From the short 500m ride for those who want to just buy a ticket at the door, and come experience the speed of sled dogs in a couple of minutes, to a whole 15 minute 5km Husky Ride in the open wilderness 💪🏼 Our most popular option is the 2km ride, which combines the best of both worlds ❄️

Winter Magic Steps from Santa Claus

Open every single day, Husky Park is easy to visit and fits perfectly into any winter itinerary. Visitors can stroll through the snowy park, snap photos with the huskies, and even enjoy warm treats in the on-site Musher’s Tavern after a day of adventure. Whether it’s your first visit to Lapland or a return for more snowy thrills, this winter wonderland stop adds unforgettable memories to your holiday adventure.
